Midland, Pa. – Liberty Theatre, a new professional theatre organization in residence at Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center, is proud to announce the formation of its advisory board. Liberty Theatre is headed by Gavan Pamer, artistic director at Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center. “Our goal was to assemble a group that has a passion for the arts, and who would work to support the mission of Liberty Theatre,” said Pamer.
Formed with a mission to present “quality, affordable entertainment to enrich and enhance the cultural experiences of the region and provide ongoing opportunities for aspiring and professional artists,” Liberty Theatre will employ on a paid basis both adults and college and high school student performers. Liberty Theatre’s name is homage to a long-gone Midland movie theater.
Pamer himself is an experienced director, choreographer, actor, dancer, singer and theater teacher.
