Counseling
At LP, student mental health has always been one of our highest priorities. We’ve rededicated ourselves to improving mental health by expanding our counseling staff. We now offer therapy appointments for students on site. And we partner with many leading mental health organizations in our area to ensure that our student mental health services are as comprehensive and accessible as possible.
Those are just a few of the ways in which LP’s counseling department serves our student body every day. Our counselors hand-schedule each one of our hundreds of students every semester–which is a rarity in today’s automated environment. LP counselors also advise students about college and career choices, supervise and ensure accurate state testing results, and meet with our students for regular check-ins.
Lincoln Park’s expanded counseling team is a critical part of our school—and of our commitment to student success and well-being.
