Two people with Aliquippa addresses reached the Hollywood round of TV’s “American Idol”.
Abigail Prepelka and Nicole Moore both impressed the celebrity judges enough to advance from the Pittsburgh round of Fox’s top-rated singing contest. Prepelka is a 2011 graduate of Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School, and Moore is a student at Community College of Beaver County.
Other western Pennsylvania contestants who earned a gold ticket to Hollywood include Adam Brock of Washington County, Keaton Micucci of Wexford, Latia Lee of Pittsburgh, Samantha Novacek of Westmoreland County, Xavier Phyllyp of Pittsburgh, Malachi Nibbs of Wilkinsburg and Keith Claiborne of Farrell, according to “Idol’s” publicist.
Episode three of “Idol” airs Sunday. Top contestants from the eight regional rounds move on to Hollywood in hopes of winning the coveted “Idol” crown.
