Four Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School students were selected for the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association’s District 5 Chorus.
Music majors Kaitlyn Carr, Halle Martin, Jacquelyn Paul and Torilyn Schaub will participate Jan. 16-Jan. 18 in the PMEA District 5 Chorus at Greenville High School, with host director Lisa Demarest.
A total of 168 students will rehearse together and perform a concert on Jan. 18 with guest conductor Dr. Chris Kiver of Penn State University. The concert begins at 2 p.m. in the high school. Admission is $5, and free for ages 10 and under.
Kaitlyn, a senior, is the daughter of Bernie and Mary Carr of Imperial; Halle, a senior, is the daughter of Jason and Elisa Martin of Patterson Township; Jacqueline, a sophomore, is the daughter of Craig and Ricki Paul of Beaver; and Torilyn, a junior, is the daughter of Nick and Missy DeSalvo of New Castle.
