Lincoln Park students represent at district chorus

Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School choral students recently participated in the District 5 Chorus festival.

Joshua Crooks, Katie Eshenbaugh, Torilyn Schaub, and Sam Thompson-Graves, all music majors, were selected to perform in the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) festival for high school music students. The event was hosted Feb.7-9 at Beaver Area High School.

Approximately 170 students from Beaver, Lawrence, Butler and Mercer counties participated in the chorus festival, rehearsing together and performing a concert on Feb. 9 with guest conductor Braden Pontoli, according to organizers.

Crooks, a senior, is bass 1; Thompson-Graves, a senior, is bass 2; Eshenbaugh, a junior, is soprano 2; and Schaub, a sophomore, is alto 2.
