Lincoln Park sends 6 to PMEA District Honors Band
MIDLAND, Pa. – Six Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School music students have been named to the PMEA District 5 Honors Band and are to participate in the three-day band festival Dec. 7-10 hosted by Westminster College. The festival is to conclude with a public concert at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, in Westminster’s Orr Hall.
Tyler Silver, a senior from Chippewa who was chosen to play principal euphonium, is a repeat selection to the Westminster Honors Band. He is a son of Laurie and Bill Silver.
Chosen principal oboe was Dannielle McBryan, a senior from Grove City. Her parents are Victoria and Bob McBryan.
Also selected were: Emily Pasquarelli, bassoon, a senior from Hopewell, a daughter of Victor and Tracy Pasquarelli; Avery Welter, horn, a senior from Ambridge, a son of Jim and Jo Welter; Brynn Hambley, flute, a sophomore from Prospect, a daughter of Jill and T.J. Hambley, and Josh Silverstein, tuba, a freshman from Ambridge, a son of Lawrence and Deb Silverstein.
